Breaking News!

California Girl to Become Georgia Peach
Goodbye sushi, goodbye tofu, goodbye frigid Pacific Ocean. Hello Barbecue, hello sweet tea, hello Lake Lanier!
Daddy landed a sweet job with Lochard Corporation and we're headed back to hot-Lanta! (Atlanta).
The company has been persuing Daddy for about a year now. First they wanted us to stay in L.A., then there were talks of a transfer to Boston and even Miami. A few months ago they came back to the table offering Atlanta, home of the Braves. Things then became very serious for us and just recently we sealed the deal.
As if a new job weren't exciting enough for our little family -- we're also buying our first home. We are nervous and excited!
So we're headed home to introduce Ella to humidity, fireflies and pine trees. What a wonderful way to grow up.
But who knows -- maybe someday our little blonde haired, blue eyed angel will venture back this way to become a Bruin! After all, she was born at UCLA - Santa Monica!!
And for those of you (both far and near) who read Ella's World, we will keep it up and running. The next few months may be a little hit or miss with the move -- but we will not abandon the Blog for good. There are still plenty of family and friends a good distance from us -- but mostly we'll all be in the same time zone!

Good luck to you and your family, Dina! I enjoy reading your blog and look forward to seeing pictures of Atlanta and your new home. You'll probably get twice the house for the money!

Ella has blue and gold running through her veins, she'll make it to UCLA. :-) Go Bruins!

Well, Atlanta's better than Cheyenne. :-)

It'll be nice to have you on the "right" coast. Hopefully Miss Ella & Miss Greta will meet in 2007. There are direct flights on the hour from D.C. to Atlanta!

Best of luck with the move. I expect photos of Ella in boxes, wrapped up in packing tape, lifting the couch...
