Fun With Cousins

While we were in Atlanta, following Ella's big party, we visited with lots of Family and Friends. But it was of utmost importance to us that Ella spend as much time as possible with her cousins. They have only met her once, at four months when we were home for her Baptism, and if your recall, she slept the whole time.

So here's a little recap of our most fun with the cousins.

When we first arrived, the cousins from Daddy's side of the family came to Babci and Granddad's house to welcome Miss Ella. Emma, Zach, Alex and Ella played with cars and dolls and anything else they could find. But when Alex and Zach put Ella on the rocky horse Granddad bought Alex when she was just a baby, our hearts melted. I remember when Alex was Ella's age and seems like just yesterday!

Then of course the swing was great fun. It's colder in Georgia than it is in SoCal but Ella laughed away as her cousins pushed her as high as she could go, despite the chilly wind whipping her little face.

Then, we visited Mommy's family and cousin Trey gave Ella a ride in his car! What great fun!! They a few days later, before having their photos taken together at JC Penney, they shared a bath together. It was funny because they equally love baths and I could tell they were looking at one another as if to say, "hey, this is my tub, move over!"

They also shared a room for the couple of night's we spent with Uncle David and Aunt Leshia. We were a little worried about how they'd sleep together, but in the morning they looked happy to see one another.

At Uncle Rob and Aunt Stephanie's Emma and Ella played together, mostly nicely. They're only 8 weeks apart so there was some competition over toys but there was not biting or hair pulling, yet. As long as we're talking abut toys and not boys we'll be okay.

They made quite the adorable pair when they were dressed alike for Christmas Eve Mass.
